Founded in 1990, Hagan Properties specializes in the development, redevelopment, leasing, management and marketing of shopping centers, apartment communities and self-storage facilities in Kentucky.

The success of Hagan Properties can be attributed to discipline in implementing its strategy of developing dominant shopping centers, apartment communities and self-storage facilities in their respective trade areas, persistence and diligence during the acquisition and approvals process, attention to detail during the construction, leasing and property management phases and maintaining a talented staff of acquisition, development, finance, leasing, sales, property management and accounting personnel.

Hagan Properties currently owns 3 shopping centers totaling approximately 1,100,000 square feet and has developed and sold an additional 825,000 square feet.

Hagan Properties has developed and sold 1,326 apartment units, will complete construction on its first build-for-rent 72-unit townhome community in December 2024, will break ground on a 324-unit multifamily community in southeastern Jefferson County on February 1, 2025 and has land in the development phase for an additional 1,325 apartments and townhomes, most of which are on land that Hagan Properties already owns.

Hagan Properties' first self-storage facility is a 5 acre ground up development of 150,000 square feet containing both climate controlled and non-climate controlled space on Chamberlain Lane in Louisville, Kentucky, contiguous to the Ford Kentucky Truck Plant.
