Shelbyville Road Plaza
The Plaza is located on Shelbyville Road in Louisville within 5 blocks of 2 regional malls, Oxmoor Center and The Mall St. Matthews. It is currently tenanted by Nordstrom Rack, Trader Joe’s, Old Navy, Guitar Center, Quest Outdoors, JoAnn Fabrics, Cost Plus World Market, Ross Dress For Less, J.Crew Factory, Genesis Diamonds and others.Shelbyville Road Plaza was built in 1954 on a 30 acre site and originally was 224,000 square feet. It was the first shopping center built in suburban Louisville. In 1989 a predecessor company of Hagan Properties bought the Plaza and renovated and substantially re-tenanted it.
In 2000, Mr. Hagan bought out his partners, demolished 80,000 square feet to access 13 acres of undeveloped property that were landlocked behind the center, expanded the Plaza to 389,000 square feet and again re-tenanted the Plaza.

Middletown Station
Middletown Station was built in 1989 on a 65 acre tract near the intersection of Shelbyville Road and the Gene Snyder Freeway in east Louisville and was anchored by a 320,000 square foot Biggs Hypermarket. Hagan Properties bought the property in 2000 when the Biggs Hypermarket building was completely vacant, demolished the Biggs Hypermarket building, brought in Target and a Walmart Superstore to anchor the property, completed selling or leasing the outparcels and to date has built and leased over 95,000 square feet of shops.Built in 2021, The Station @ Middletown is Hagan Properties' 313-unit luxury apartment community located immediately west of Target. Hagan Properties built the 63,000 square foot unanchored TaylorHurst in 1990 on 10 acres at the intersection of South Hurstbourne Parkway and Taylorsville Road in Louisville.
